From the Login screen:

 

1.       Enter your User ID and Password.

2.       Click Login.

 

Retrieve Data from the Database

Select a Meter, Quantity and/or Date Range

 

1.       Select a meter (service point), quantity, interval size, and date range.

2.       Select a report from the drop-down menu.

3.       Click Show Report.

 

Viewing a Report or Graph

Select or View a Report or Graph

 

1.       Select a report type from the drop-down menu.

2.       Select a meter from the Meter ID list.

3.       Select a unit of measure from the Quantities list.

4.       Select an interval length from the Interval drop-down list.

5.       Select a date range.

6.       Click Show Report.

Log in As a Different User

1.       Click the Login as a Different User button to return to the login screen.

2.       Enter a new User ID and Password.

3.       Click Login.

 


Retrieve New Data from the Database

1.       Click Retrieve New Data from the Database button.

1.       Select a meter (service point), quantity, interval size, and date range.

2.       Select a report from the drop-down menu.

3.       Click Show Report.

 

Three Options to View Data

1.       View as a Bar Graph.

2.       View as a Line Graph.

3.       View as a Table.

 

The View Previous Day and View Next Day buttons quickly move back and forth between screens showing data for each day within a selected date range.

 

Zoom In and Zoom Out

When viewing a graph, you can enlarge a section of it to view. Using the left mouse button, drag the pointer over the section of the graph you want to enlarge. Release the mouse button and the selected section is enlarged. To reverse this action, click the Zoom Out button.

You can also reverse the Zoom In action by selecting the original report choice from the drop-down menu on the toolbar.

 

Save Data as a Local File

You can download data that can be imported into a spreadsheet. This function saves all the data related to the meter (service point), quantity, and date range selected.

Save data

1.       Click Save Data as a Local File. A standard File Download screen appears.

2.       Choose Save this file to a Disk from the File Download screen.

3.       From the Save As dialog box, choose a target directory and a file name.

The data is saved in delimited ASCII format. By using the ASCII format, the saved data can be imported into a spreadsheet program (like Excel or Lotus).

 

Print Reports and Graphs

To print a report or graph, click the Print button displayed on the main toolbar.

When printing data displayed in a table, the Print Current View and Print Entire Range buttons appear at the bottom of the screen. Print Current View prints the current data displayed in the entire scroll box. The Print Entire Range button, prints data within the entire date range you selected on the main screen.

 

Options Menu

You can request meter data from MV-90 and create aggregate meters through the SPATIA Options Menu button. When you click this button the Select Option dialog box appears and you can choose one of the following options:

 

         Meter Aggregation

         Call Meter

 

Meter Aggregation (Aggregate meters are not saved when you exit SPATIA)

1.       Creating an Aggregate Meter

1.       Click the Options Menu button.

2.       From the Select Option dialog box, click Meter Aggregation.

3.       From the Create an Aggregate Meter dialog box, type the aggregate meter's ID.

4.       Click Create and the Meter Aggregation dialog box appears.

5.       From the Channel Selection drop-down list, select a quantity to be aggregated (For example, kWh, kVah, or kVarh).

Note:  When you select a channel, the Available Meters, Channels, and Available Dates lists are populated.

6.       From the Available Meters list, select a meter.

7.       Select a channel type from the Channels list.

Note:  Only one channel can be selected at a time from that list.


8.       Click Add Contributor.

1.       The contributor is moved to the Existing Contributors list. This list adds data together for selected channels.

9.       Click Save Aggregate Meter.

1.       The system prompts you to confirm the Save action. The new meter appears in the Meter ID list on the main screen.

10.   Click Close to return to the main screen.

Note:  If you try to aggregate meters with different intervals lengths, SPATIA will increase the lesser interval length to equal the greater interval length and then complete the aggregation process. For example, aggregating a contributor with a 30-minute interval length and a contributor with a 20-minute interval length results in an aggregate meter with a 60-minute interval length.

Call Meter (meter interrogation)

1.       Select a meter to interrogate from Call Meter drop-down list.

2.       Select a Month and Day to call the meter.

3.       Select the Frequency Calling check box to determine how often SPATIA interrogates the meter. Clear this box if you want the meter interrogated once.

4.       Select the time to begin calling the meter from the Start Time drop-down list.

5.       Select the time to stop calling the meter in the Stop Time field.

6.       Enter how often the meter should be called (in minutes) in the Interval field.

7.       Click OK.

 

Spatia checks if the meter has any scheduled tasks that may conflict with the new task. If there is a conflict, the new task is not scheduled and the Task Scheduling Conflicts screen appears. The Task Scheduling Conflicts screen lists all the scheduled tasks whose dates and times conflict with the new task. If there are no scheduling conflicts with the interrogation request, the Call Meter Confirmation screen appears. The Call Meter Confirmation screen shows the meter ID, company name, and adjusted time the meter will be interrogated. If Frequency Calling was selected on the Call Meter screen, the adjusted end time and adjusted frequency-calling interval are also displayed.
